Not only did Burk DJ our wedding back in 2013, he met and had dinner with my wife and I before the event on his own time to discuss everything exactly how we wanted. To me he was more of a friend/family member at our wedding then a DJ he didn’t set behind his booth and just play music with a light show, he was involved with us and all of our guests all night. Great guy with an amazing humor and personality. He truly made our wedding night full of laughters and happy tears. Burk was great at keeping our guests entertained and dancing! The karaoke was so much fun and he kept the reception flowing with a good mix of karaoke songs and dance songs. He also communicated with me frequently leading up to the wedding to make sure we were on the same page. The DJ without the Emcee is lost. The Emcee has become the voice of the wedding reception and keeps everything flowing and in order. Weddings without someone to take charge tend to be slow, unfulfilled and quite frankly boring in some cases. I heard of one incident even where the Bride’s Mother missed a cake cutting because there was no one to announce it. She made the bride and groom cut the cake again. If someone had been there to take charge and let everyone know what was going on, problem avoided.
